Missional Communities:

Missional communities are our expressions of life groups, or small groups, within PSCG. They are essentially "life groups plus". They have the familiar components and characteristics of typical life groups (Bible study, prayer, fellowship), but they also have a strong missional, or ministry component. That is, a missional community is a small group of friends where you grow in your relationship with God and help others in the group do the same. And a missional community is also a small group of friends that helps you develop the heart and ability to team up with others to reach out and minister to your friends.

Venture Groups:

Venture Groups are small group Bible studies comprised mainly of grad students new to Penn State and/or new to PSCG. In addition, Venture Groups help you find out more about Peer Groups and Missional Communities - the ongoing small groups of PSCG. Venture Groups exist for only a semester, and then they provide an opportunity to seamlessly transition into Peer Groups and Missional Communities.

Statement of Faith:
We believe there is only one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is God's uniquely inspired and authoritative written revelation to mankind, that it is completely trustworthy, and is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

We believe that Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine, was born of the Virgin Mary, that He died for our sins and that He rose from the dead to provide eternal life to all who trust Him as Lord and Savior.

We believe that humankind was originally created in the image of God. Man sinned by disobeying God; thus, he was alienated from his Creator. That historic fall brought all humankind under divine condemnation.

We believe that salvation is only available by God's grace through faith in Jesus and in His finished work of redemption on the cross.

We believe in the indwelling presence and transforming power of the Holy Spirit who gives to all believers a new life and a new calling to obedient service.

We believe in the Church as the Body of Christ, whose members are dedicated to fellowship and the proclamation of the Gospel.

We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
